  • We have 6 of us

  • 4 leads and 1 junior alongside two freelance SEO consultants.

How would you describe the company culture?

In terms of company culture, we are a super chilled-out company, we are mainly remote however we do have a base in Breda, which I’ve visited a few times now, with amazing people. We have people located across the globe, with our three main bases being The Netherlands, India and the US.

Which personality traits are you looking for in this person?

I would love for them to be someone who has their own projects, breaks shit, and has a bit about them,’ They need to be able to really work by themselves, as we have a remote team so they need to be super self motivated.

Can you describe what the perfect candidate would look like for you?

The main aim of this senior role is to take over day-to-day work on Resume.io, Resume.io/uk and overall SEO strategy

  • Be able to act as well as plan. Create & implement the startegy.
  • I would love for them to be someone who has their own projects, breaks stuff, and has a bit about them – someone who’s not afraid to get stuck in.

May be able to move into people management long term if successful.

About Your Role:

The SEO Lead will have full responsibility of their team and their accounts, ensuring a seamless, end to end delivery of campaigns whilst managing and helping grow your team.

Resposibilities:

  • You will create, develop and communicate a robust plan for SEO for your portfolio of clients. You will be accountable for achieving visit and revenue targets, particularly across strategic priority categories.
  • Daily management of your team and ensuring that KPI’s and targets are being achieved.
  • Responsible for the achievement of targets relating to SEO visits, revenue and conversion across the website.
  • Upskill and empower the SEO team (and other relevant individuals) to make better use of datasets across the available toolset, driving action, improving workflows and market understanding.
  • Management of SEO budgets for a variety of clients, along with the ongoing management of these relationships and has the authority to add and change suppliers and third party partners.
  • Conduct ongoing and adhoc analysis to produce reports on Organic Search KPIs and evaluate the success of activities.
  • Conduct client facing meetings, reviews and attend client calls when necessary
  • Manage new client onboarding from SEO perspective, deliver site migrations

Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time and consistently achieve deadlines.
  • Effective prioritisation skills.
  • Team management experience desirable.
  • Demonstrable success with technical and content focused SEO projects.
  • Success with Internationalisation and Site Migration SEO projects.
  • Experience working on SEO for ecommerce.
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and manage data.
  • Attention to detail
  • Knowledge of HTML
  • The ability to problem solve and to take initiative.
  • Proven communication and influencing skills
  • Commercially astute and ambitious.
  • Familiarity with research tools, rank trackers and cloud-based crawlers.
